Push Piers

What are

Push Piers?

The patented Push Pier system permanently stabilizes your home’s foundation, and, in many cases, can even lift your home back to level. Galvanized steel tube sections are hydraulically driven through steel foundation brackets to reach the depths of competent load-bearing strata. They’re locked into place and the weight of your home is transferred from the original, unstable soils, through the piers, to the competent soil or bedrock.

Why You Need

Push Piers

The Supportworks push pier system develops a factor of safety against pier settlement by the pier installation methods used and the sequence with which multiple piers are driven and then re-loaded. Piers are first driven individually using the maximum weight of the structure and any contributory soil load. After all of the piers are driven, the piers are re-loaded simultaneously, and the total reaction load is distributed over the multiple pier locations.
